I Want To Go Gigging

I can't get 2112 to take me, J/K Bert, but I'm fixing to take a little road trip to the hill country but on my way back I'm stopping off at camp in Port O'Connor for some gigging on Thursday night. Hope to have a report when I get back.

So far I'm planning to hunt the dickinson channel and stretches of the TC dike friday night.
I don't have a pardner as of yet but nothing is certain anyway.

Met up with Capt. Shawn Harvey and a buddy of his at the Fishing Center Thursday evening. The winds were blowing out of the south/southwest and the tide was pretty low, plus we still had an outgoing tide. Once we got out to our gigging spot and turned on the light's you could look and see that the water clarity wasn't all that great but his buddy and I did manage our limit's and finished up around 12:30am. It turned out to be a good trip.

Kinda sounds like you are starting to realize, understand and appreciate the nocturne hunt.
Keep your boat and trade in your sons ShoalWater for a fanboat and you will have the best of both worlds!
