I have a gigging kayak and now I have a gigging bass raider. I've had this vision in my head for a while now and when Academy dropped the 8 footer to 299.99 it was time to complete my vision.

The whole set up cost me less than 400 bucks and it works just as well as my 18 ft flat bottom.

3/4 inch PVC frame to 2 inch reducer 2 inch PVC that I routed out windows with the dremal then I capped the ends

Neat! What powers it propulsion-wise? How about the lights (power)? I don't understand your lights-how are they waterproofed-is there a clear plastic window in the "window" for the lights to make em waterproof?

I cheated a little on the lights for now. I am using the Q-Beam underwater lights that academy sells for crappie fishing. Can't beat the price for how much light they put off. 250,000 candle watts per unit.

I'm going to make my own super bright LED bars when I have the spare time, but for now, they will do.
