The new gigs are Almost done. Stainless steel, heavy duty just need the handles done.

No flounder is going to get loose from that.

Are you going with long poles for gigging from a boat??

You like the "barbs" on yours? Regardless, looks sharp bro. I use a arrowhead (no barb) and attach on the end with a string on it, so as soon as I stab it its already on the stringer.

        New gigs

This is our first time designing one, so hopefully it will work, if not it looks good lol. Going to use a small handle for a walking gig.

Cool looking. I'd think the barbs would be overkill and make it hard to get the flounder off. I'll bet the twists would be enough to hold them on.

You won't need the Barbs if you are walking. Like others said...Your going to have a hard time getting the fish off.
Save that one for a long pole. Nice design.

Looks good..I've only been twice but I would rather have barbs.

The barbs are overkill I have to agree also. The twist you have already is enough to hold them on so that you can sling them into the box behind you.

Try it as is . You can always grind down the barbs some or entirely .
