I need some advise on what boat to buy that can be rigged for flounder gigging. I see most are using a flat bottom jon boat, but is there anything else that will work in 6 to 8 inch water? What is the minimum width that I should look for? I do not want to buy a new boat for such a limited use so I need to know what is usable. Thanks for any advice and tips.
