            That brigth full moon may have been a damper unless he was floundering toward the moon (facing it) as opposed to having it at his back.

              So true. Gigging on full moons seem to be slow most of the time. Try not to have the moon behind you because the fish
              can see you. They also don't move into the shallow water as much. I think it is because they know they are more visable.
              I have had good nights on a full moon, but not often.
