I have never gigged down there. I'd walk out there & see what you can find. You want to focus on tide movements. Walk the area you should be able to see imprints if there has been any in the area.

Try off back side of packery channel. Work the shoreline along laguna shores near flour bluff,if you have boat access spoil islands yeild good near packery channel
