  • Yakking in the hood

Well, with all the rain and no parades, my daughter was a little bored. I started telling her about taking out our canoe when it used to flood in Houston so she begged me to take out the yak. We got out our little SINK and she proceeded to paddle up & down O 1/2.Click image for larger version

I grew up off edgbrook in south Houston when I was a kid and my dad worked for hl&p over on old galveston road and I can remember when it flooded real bad back in 79 I think and they told my dad to be at work or he didn't have a job so he got his canoe out and him and a guy down the street canoed to work that morning. I remember having to pick him up with the canoe that afternoon.

I thought there was going to be some gun play involved with a title like this.
            LOL

Great way to make the best out of the situation.

Thanks for noticing! Mr. style has lots of swell hats in his fabulous wardrobe. That little cutie is army surplus circa December 1948. I've had it since I was a teenager!

Bruce works for Bud -- he may have been hammered. I'm bettin his daughter is still a bit below the drinking age though.
