Grew up fishing that whole area. If your going to fish the lakes, make your first start on the north shoreline of the the Lydia Ann channel about 400 yards before the Lighthouse. Basically right where the Ship Channel meets the Lydia Ann. Brusiser Redfish run that shoreline at first light. Caught some real good ones there.

Cool deal!!!!! Very good news. We are doing guide with Slowride first days then doing LHL on our own the second. This is great info. Ill put up picks after trip.

well, first day we went with guide in 28+ winds (in boat) and landed 1 small trout. 2ns day paddled a tone of places, 1 trout, 1 red. For me the water was very clear, locals said it was dirty. All in all had a great time just not as many fish as Id would like
