Going to head out to Texas City Saturday morning to fish the channel. Any good/bad news there lately? Haven't been there in a long time... Suggestions would be appreciated! Especially how the flounder might be looking over there!

So you taking the kayak to the channel side ? I have never seen a kayak out there . Mosquito island , yes . Don't get run over by a freighter or swamped .

haven't heard any flounder reports but im sure they are there. try right at the beginning of the dike. couple of sand bars with good guts in between them and a big flats area off the channel.

bunch of small flounder roamin around Seawolf....few keepers in between chips
