Wanted flounder for dinner so went back out to my redfish hole to look for them. Unfortunately the reds were still gone, but the trout showed up! All schoolie sized but it was non stop topwater action for an hour. I then looked for the flounder...but they were gone too! I made a move to a point with the outgoing tide and found them stacked up! My buddy showed up with some live mullet and started catching big flounder between 18 and 21 inches. It was literally every cast for him including two bonus reds. I caught flounder using the spinner bait and gulp. The flounder got smaller as the tide weakened and the action stopped once the tide stopped. I lost a flounder that was at least 24 inches. That's how it goes I guess but still a great day on the water. Total tally for the day was 2 limits of flounder and 2 reds.
