palomar with braided line

I saw a video by a Australian guide tying braid to fluorocarbon by overlapping the two lines by about 8 inches , twisting the two lines around each other , then tying 4 over hand knots , and trimming the tag ends . He pulled on it until the braid broke , not the knot . I’ve used it to catch one red fish only . It’s simplicity itself .Time will tell .
