3 flyfishing days on west bay

Saturday started out slow and ended up the same way with one sighted and caught.Sunday morning was out due to the weather that hit,but the afternoon winds calmed and allowed me to get out and pick off three reds on Redfish crack.Monday was THE DAY ! Light winds and full sun allowed me to connect on 13 pods of tails and mudders with 9 reds(19 to 24 in.) and 3 trout (14 to 19 in.) and one blown attempt.Things are looking better for the long rod fishers. SKIFFSTIFF

First two days were a warm up! Nice way to spend 3 days for sure.

sounds great man! we were out friday afternoon and the wind was wicked! we managed one shot and blew it! Supposed to shoot ducks this weekend but if the water rises in the river Ill be in the marsh armed with a 8wt!
