Just got back from a trip to Oregon for winter steelhead. Fished the South Umpqua. Had planned for a 3 day trip, but bad weather resulting in muddy river conditions considerably shortened the available fishing time. Caught 1 steelhead 29". Enjoyed being in a different part of the country and enjoyed fishing a bit different from here, but I
wouldn't trade a place there for my west bay marsh.
