There aint nothing wrong with "Cool" style while your on the water. I bought one both ways with the attached hood and without. I do stay cooler when i use the mask though.

You can also just buy the face mask so yo can wear it with any shirt as shown in one of the pics.

If it only had pockets... then I might be looking into getting one of these shirts..
