    Oh , and my over engineered Cajun depth finder float will keep that end afloat with the other end touching bottom . Whether it will float in deeper water is something I will try to avoid discovering .

      Hell of a bottom sensor-Plugster! I use my stick pin-has taped depth markings like yours.
      I've got some grass for you....you won't care about yours anymore!
