Tops early pink skitterwalk was the ticket!Between about 20 blow-ups and trout table dances i grabbed two between 18 and 19.Off the water at 8 oclock to greet a late bloomer
.Back in the water before i don't know.Slow as heck on tops so i switched to a fat boy.BAMM we have a trout that is in the circus......this trout would not stay down at all..on the fourth high jump of four foot it spit the fatboy.Back to shore to get ready for prime time!
I noticed i had a fray on or dang near the end of the line that was almost in two early.I switch weapons and like a light it hit as i look at this poor little devil that has been sitting on one of my parts containers for MONTHS and the last dim bulb in my brain went off Green was the Billy Kocian(the lady guide from down Redneck Riviera way)Said green has been the go to color the last two days.humm......I tie that sucker on and proceed to put a asswhoopping on any fish it comes near gaftop,pompano,trout and spanish fly!Before the dinner bell rang the treble hook was a double hook almost single hook and still catchin fish.I ended up with 8 trout to 25 and one pompano.I promise not to post a long winded thread for at least a few weeks.
I might post up a pic from last year if i'm lucky!
