Got a call from my neighbor and said the surf was flat and green to the beach so I high tailed it to bay home and got rigged up and was on the water by 6:30. My freezer was empty so i opted for live shrimp and caught my limit inside a 1hr. Also caught 2 huge ladyfish that damn near spooled me. I dont know what a 3 foot tarpon looks like but these could have been but I doubt it and boy what a ride those guys gave me.
The wife hates it when I clean my fish in the kitchen but the skeeters were pretty outragous. I called my dad and he and a freind are working the fish over right now. I hope this weather holds thru the weekend.
