got to the beach at 10 and fished until noon. had 2 trout and 2 reds about 18in. the lady and blue fish moved in so i called it a day.

Good for you, but that Sucks for me. I have driven 1100 miles the last 5 months, trying to catch the perfect 'trout green' surf. (11 trips, 50 miles one way from Pearland) Everytime I see the big lake looking like a swimming pool (on the webcams) I head down & find whitecaps, sandy water. I guess the 'bright side' of things is I got to watch the sun come up over the Gulf 11 times. That is kinda worth the gas money.Comment
