Good evening! My father-in-law just called and invited me to fish the surf tomorrow morning. I have only fished the surf one other time in my life and was curious as to any pointers or what to throw. I usually wade fish and wanted to get down to the water. He usually just throws live shrimp under a popping cork, but a buddy of mine informed me to throw something in chrome color if I wanted some top water action (Superspook or Skitterwalk). Would love to hear your guys tips and/or suggestions. I have heard that surf fishing can cause for some great catches. Thanks!
