Left town around 4:45 in the morning and baited up at bayou and uncle bucks. Then i went to the 91st and setup. Had hooks in the water by 6:30. Around 7:30 my drag on my penn battle 6000 started screaming. I grabbed the rod and set the hook. After a quick 3 minute fight, i landed a 17" black drum. I then rebaited and casted out. A while later, i baited again and casted out. Then 30 seconda later, i go to move my rod and i feel something, thinking its weed. But it fights back. I get it on top of the water and its a sheepshead. After landing and measuring, a nice 17 inch sheepshead goes in the cooler. Later i moved to the end and threw at the pylons, with my abu wadding rod, and landed 3 more sheepshead. On my little rod, it was fun. I then headed back to town around 3.
