  • RED ALERT

went down t SS this morning and of coarse forgot my cast net and bait bucket. water was a little rough and dirty on the inside but plenty of bait everywhere. threw some jigs for awhile with only a couple of hits. drove down the beach and stopped to watch a group of guys fishing long rods. well needless to say they were killing the reds on live mullet. saw them catch 4 in about 15 minutes. they all looked like nice slot fish going in the coolers. tried throwing jigs again next to them and nothing, except watching them catch more reds! started making me sick so I came home. lol will be back tomorrow with my gear.
the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

It is a little slow the last few days on the reds, but it will be picking up as we move into October. Donna is at the beach front now, has one slot in the box. I am working
