Tops in the Surf- 08-12-14 Report

Got in the water at dark and found some feeding fish in the first gut. Caught a 21 inch trout and a big 29 or so inch red. Sun came up and realized that my velcro failed and my wade box is somewhere floating in the surf. Went back to the car to stoc up on things and went back out. Just worked up and down the beach. Bigger trout came off the first gut. Threw tops and ended up with 15 keepers. All fished released today. Water was sandy green initially. Biggest trout of the day went a tad over 5 lbs.

PS if you find a wade box, i'd appreciate it back

I just got a foreverlast wade belt and it gave up my wade box first trip to the surf too. Even the cord came out of the clip.
