Hey guys, first time to post on here and thanks for the add.
I am off Friday and since my oldest girl is off and youngest is out of school, wanted to do some surf fishing and wade in a bit.

They both like to wade in and my oldest just got her a surf rod but none of us have ever fished from the shoreline.
These girls have been looking forward to doing this and spending a fun familiy day out there, do you think it will be worth it since the winds picked up? Also we plan on Galveston, so what part do any of you suggest ? I appreciate any advice at all.

Yeah, surf is a wreck again. What else is new for me...just can never seem to catch it.

I'd look at San Louis bay side if you have 4x4 , but watch the current. People die there every year.

Hey guys, thanks for the responces, I changed my Friday off to Wednesday, tomorrow. It will just be me and the oldest one going early. Wish me luck and i will post a report of where and how it went.
