conditions lined up good for a thursday morning session.walked-in again to the soft mud i've had to myself for almost 3 months.started around 7am and caught a few nice, scattered fish for the first few hours, then around 10,the bite turned on.from then until noon,it was solid 2-4 lbers.caught at least a dozen, strung 5,all pushing 20-22".had a soild 5-5 1/2 lber pull off after a good fight.when that outgoing hit it's peak is when they were feeding the best.a little homework payed off again.between 6am yesterday and noon, there was a full moon setting, sunrise,a minor and a major feeding period,a strong outgoing, and light east to SE winds right before a strong front.soft mud in 3' of water has been where they have been holding.this place has been a testament to what can happen when fish have no pressure.it's been quiet over there and the bait has stayed also.again, the chartreuse/gold and dayglo corkies did the trick.
