I waked in about 4:00 PM when I got back from the fishing show. Like the old surfing days after a surf movie. I was stoked and had to fish!
S. shoreline, weak incoming tide, water warmer than the air, very little bait showing.
I threw a jig a caught two rat reds and a barely keeper flounder. Switched to a bone/chrome Shedog and had a upper slot red hit it hard and fought on the surface like a big trout.....not. I had one more red on the Shedog and came in as the sun set. It got cold too!!
Still can't find a trout to save my life, but get my boat back tomorrow so that will change.
