saturday 10/22/11

went fishing yesterday. caught 2 keeper trout and 1 sand trout. released 2 small flatties and 2 small trout. had some good hits, but couldn't keep them on the hook. fish were caught on CAL chartruese/glow paddle tail, H&H rootbeer paddle tail. tried topwater for a while and nothing. tried watermelon/red and touts. nothing. there was bait all over the place. water is starting to get cold. my teeth were chatering by noon. time to take out the neoprenes. in the water at 7:30 out by 1pm. Lord Bless.
