Walked in early yesterday morning with great conditions.Solid overcast,SE about 7-8,clean water, tons of bait and the trout were runnin' it.Caught around 20 trout from day break until about 9 and it was over.Got a few fish on the "Larry Holmes",but most were short striking it.I switched over to the salt n pepper sand eel and that was it.When they hit it,they would come straight out of the water pissed off, trying to shake it.Walked with a limit,18-20".Nothing huge, but all fat and solid. The bite has been good the last week, but it's been an early one.By 8-9 o'clock it's been over.
