Temple Fork Outftters have a new rod series built by Gary Loomis. I picked up one of the salt water series that he is making for them over at Bass Pro in Katy. Awesome rod for $100. Highly recommend it

man Loomis hasn't had jack to do with G. Loomis rods for years. Private investors bought him out a long time ago, just a high dollar production rod now.

Can someone hook me up with the rod specs I should be looking at? I fish a 5500 or 6500 Abu reel and throw topwater spooks or spook juniors as well at live shrimp under a popping cork.
I looked at academy for some all star rods and castaways, but there are tons of choices.
I saw these three:
Allstar
ASTISC905SPNSpoon7'6"1C3/8-3/48-17Mod. FastM8 + Tip
ACL PRM-WSaltwater Wader6'5"13/8-3/48-17MED6 + TipACL PRXCaoastal Special7'6"11/4-5/88-17MED8 + Tip
But are they heavy or suitable enough for what I need and will they cast well?

Part of the difficulty in answering your question is that part of it is a matter of taste. Some folks like their rods light action, some heavy.
My preference is for something lighter for throwing topwaters and heavier (medium) for popping corks. If I'm wading I'd rather have a 6'6" but on a boat I prefer a 7'. If I was going to buy only one of the three you listed it would be the middle one. My best suggestion is for you to go into the store and waggle a couple of them around a bit. One of them is bound to feel better to you."Curmudgeon only pawn in game of life."
