Me and a buddy headed out yesterdee after work. Got to the wade spot around 5 in the afternoon. Buddy was throwing live shrimp under a popper cork and catching some smaller sand trout with a couple specks and a sheephead. Weather was calm and in the upper 80's caught the middle of a dropping tide. We watched a couple big storms closing in towards us from the northwest. Just before the winds started to pick up I hooked up on a personal best trout by 1 1/2". It's always nice when a trout breaks the surface and you think it was a good red. 26 1/2" visor reppin FWE!
