  • What's up with the wind?

These front are pissing me off. All of them are NE. What happened to the traditional NW wind fronts? This is throwing things off. The marshes are flooded. Some of my traditional fall spots are hard to wade because of these freaking east winds. Weird.

Seems like they all have been that direction so far....aren't the nw wind fronts typically later in the cold snaps? Can't remember.....

I believe the wind will be SE until a front approaches . Then the SE wind increases as it nears and clocks around to S , Sw , W , NW , N , then as it passes ,NE , E , SE .

Between the wind and the crazy high tides fishing zucks!

I think I know where they are. My trolling motor and drift socks won't help me stay on 'em.

This is the type of front I'm referring to. Fishing is about to explode now.

Water temp has dropped to 47 degrees which means the trout have gone to deep water.

This 20-30 mph NW and NNW wind should push some water out........hopefully, although the causeway gauge shows it only .70 ft. low.

Looks like wind has emptied some water now...

It will after it completes the 20 mph march round the compass...
