Sunday 5.18.14 wade

Walked in the south shoreline Sunday afternoon at 4pm...lots of waders out. 6 bites from 4 to 8pm...4 fish the 3 in the pic and one rat released. All between 3-4lbs. All in knee deep or less. Catching shallow reds is fun, but when about a 4lb trout hits a soft plastic in 18 inches of water about 10 yards from you, it is a rush, they go absolutely nuts trying to throw the hook! All on opening night paddle tail assassins. Can't wait for the long weekend...

Great Job! When I was younger and willing to bog in mud, there was always a place on the South Shore Line of West Bay that was always money in the Month of May (regardless of how strong the south wind was).
