So what's up with the limits and how far north do they extend? My friend told me his two friends got ticketed at surfside for being over the limit but my understanding is that it begins at the bridge in Sargent. Any clarity to this?

yup, they had more than 10 each is my guess for surfside.

Are you talking about trout, flounder, or red drum. If flounder 2 for November thru December 14. Don't know about other areas besides Galveston. If trout, then the boundary does hold whether south or north. Red drum, then the limit is 3. Lord Bless.

You need to get the facts . I don't think it had anything to do with the 5 fish limit .
