Congrats to all guys/gals who fished in the red fish showdown Saturday, I really wanted to participate but could only fish that morning. My Son and I fished till around noon. It was kind of a tough day, we were able to located fish but mostly under sized trout for me. Probably caught 6 or 7 small fish and Only stringing 2.My son focused his efforts wading up in the mash catching 2 reds on a white skitter walk and a couple more on chartreuse sand eels he strung 3 reds And released A few around 17 to 20 inches. One of his reds had a few spots, may have placed in the tournament.
