Have always waded with a net, but getting tired of the weight and being in the way when wading.... Purchased a boga with a float and am wondering how yall attach to yalls belts or jackets when wading....

Another thing, when getting beat on a bad day in the surf, there are no issues of it falling off the belt????

Usually there's a loop on your wading belt you can attach it to. The only time I use a boga is when I want to release the fish or put in a live well during a tournament, otherwise I grab them behind the head. I don't think I would use one in the surf.

I use mine all the time. I attach it to my wade belt with a bungee cord that has a float cork on it and attach the Boga to a D ring on my belt .. Can't lose it that way.

I've got a float and a lanyard that attaches to my belt. It wont come off unless I remove it .

I use a a Boga, but hand grab a lot of the fish I catch, especially in the surf.

              Yea, this one:

In the kayak (and wading) it allows me to secure the fish, like a forceps, while rummaging for a pliers, stringer, etc.
I like this better than the Boga, and it's cheaper. I'd have to lose 8 of these, to equal losing one Boga

I attach with a lanyard and a D-ring. It floats (w/o d-ring), so no additional float needed.
