Went around the North shoreline today and could not find the trout. They were there, just not feeding heavily. Caught a few on tops and corkies but with the lack of action, we decided to move around and do more scouting than fishing. Came across a rock wall and saw some flilping bait. Made a couple casts with a skitterwalk, but soon changed to a Mirrodine XL. A few casts later, I felt a slight tap and lifted up the rod to feel no fish on. I twitched it a few more times then dead sticked it for a few seconds longer than usual. Then WHAM! I set the hook and immediately felt the weight. It made a U turn and slowly went past me towards the channel. It peeled off and I thought that this fish was going to be gone and I would be left to wonder what the heck it was. It pulled of 20, 30, then 40 yds, increasing its pace as it went. Eventually, I had reached half a spool...and it stopped. I quickly made gains, but this fish never gave up, with it making a run every so often. Look what I got!

That's a big one !"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
