Duck hunting West bay

I've never went duck hunting down in west or east bay...is there only certain areas you can hunt down there or is it pretty open? any information would help. just not to sure on the rules and regulations on doing a public hunt down in galveston

So if i went and hunted any small islands towards christmas bay that aren't near houses or private property i should be good?

10-4 You'd be okay... Just make sure if your hunting from a boat that you have the motor trimmed all the way up & anchor out. If you don't have those two things they consider it a moving vessel and it's illegal to hunt out of it.

its easier to hunt galvetraz wading in than matagorda.

That's true but your limited to the S. Shoreline and not many ducks there that's all I have to say on that subject

you are limited to the south shore in both bays.
