New Man Toy

This is all my wife's fault........lol She dragged me to a yard sale and I picked u...p an old Westernfield 550 shotgun really cheap. Actually Westernfield was made by Mossberg for Montgomery Wards many years ago, so this gun is actually an early Mossberg 500. It needed a load of cleaning and some new parts to dress it up. But now it is a very nice Tactical/Home Defense weapon. I shot it yesterday and we are ready for the zombies or terminators.........LOL

How is the kick on that?

Kick is really managable with the Hogue Tamer grip. It is basicaly the same grip that is used on the S&W 500 Mag and 460 Nitro, so it was meant to handle recoil. I also got some of the tactical, low recoil 00 Buck for her that helps a lot. No problem putting all six out of it fast and staying on target at 15yds.
