  • Something fun to do before it gets to damn hot!

    Went to Blessing and busted a few quail and pheasant...farm raised but fun none the less. Top notch outfit, lets you warm up on skeet prehunt too. Been under some stress as of late and really needed to shoot the heck outta something...and if i get a good meal out of it, that much the better! Anyone got a good recipe for pheasant?

            Monte;

            If plucked and whole Pheasants, cook em like a Cornish game Hen-stuff em with an apple and onion and butter and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or so. Otherwise, cook em like a dove-wrapped in bacon with jalapeno and cheese inside (same with the quail). Nice pile of birds!!
            "Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
