Early Teal

Howdy is anyone thinking about doing early teal hunts down here.
Just curious if anyone else is looking to hit it like i am?

Looking forward to a good waterfowl season!

Haven't teal hunted since early 90s. Got old and out of shape too hard chasing birds down through the marsh. Sure was fun though.

mee too, everything up north is dried up, so they are predicting us to have a good season with no water up north. We got plenty of it down here.

I had a hunt scheduled and then realized I will be in chicago for work and had to cancel it for the following weekend. But, that is the opening weekend for dove season... Decisions, decisions...

well i have been scouting for places while i have been down this weekend. hopefully i have picked some good spots! Guess we will see tho!

That is probably what I am going to do.

Dove get shot out bad after opening weekend, but teal will come down in waves so you can still get good shoots later. I will be going for dove if I get the chance. Opening weekend if I can then I am done with those little birds for the year.

Maybe true, but I got a lease 5 minutes away from the house for those little dove. Gonna have fun with my 3 year old son and the 12 week old lab. Could care less if we get one (well at least one)..

You are more than welcome to come join one day. I will let you know if we get lots of birds.
