I'll miss opening weekend cause my sister decided to be born that day thirty years ago then has a kid.opening day of gun season ! I'll be there the second weekend

I will be in my favorite tree stand Saturday morning, this will be my first hunt with a cross bow. Switched in the offseason from a compound. I pulled pictures from my trail cams on Saturday and it looks like I have back strap on the hoof showing up for breakfast every day about 7 am. A couple of does that are really nice. I hunt in one of those old east Texas counties where the guiding fathers won't let you shoot does except in Archery season. I plan on getting mine.

I wish friday would hurry up! I don't even care that forcast show anywhere between 60-100% chance of rain! I do like the north northeast wind forcast. Good luck, stick em.
