  • Another Good Hunt

Another good weekend of hunting. Friday was a bust for the dove but still enjoyed my son and I spending time in the field. We had another good teal hunt saturday. 10 Teal with 4 hunters. A limit shouldn't have been a problem if we could shoot straight. I'm a little concerned with how few big ducks we are seeing. Is this normal for teal season down here?

I've seen a ton of spoonies, whistlers & pintails from Eagle Lake to Sabine so far... Some are here but the majority will start arriving in another 4-6 weeks

Lots of pintail, a few motts and spoons.

Pretty cool seeing those pintail drakes all in eclipse plumage.
