Mixed Bag

Hunted public today open water with 80 dekes. Nailed a pintail early, 2 teal and a Spoonie. A large duck came by and a short whistle had it locked up. Dropped it as it started put its feet down. Sadie brought it back a beautiful Green Head. Missed the next bird taking a photo then sat for 45 min until a mottled duck committed and it was all over.

Those are some sweet drake teal. I would have mounted them together! I already have some but hell I like them on the wall.

Nice bag Coe. Last time I went duck hunting, I blasted some pretty big holes in some slow-flying clouds, did some eco-damage to some cattails that may never recover and I swear the retriever was laughing at me. I did however manage to kill a wild turkey in a bottle when we got back to the trailer.
