I see kildeer while hunting for dove but I'm uncertain about the legality of shooting these. Are these off limits or free game?

I'm assuming they are off limits. Why would you want to shoot one??

Ha ! Ain't that the truth . The tread about reducing the trout limit to 5 ...instead make open season on cormorant .

I'm new to hunting and my friend says they taste good. I wanted to find out the regulations but th tpwd website is misleading. I'll stick to dove.

Add a couple seagulls and a black bird in there and you got yourself a gumbo

Their used to be an abundance of field larks in Texas until I cleaned them out in my teens. Kildees are a little trickier flyers. Neither taste as well as I was told.
