Gotta sit back and say to some of my old co-workers "I Told YA So" after doing a little reading this morning. Some employers cutting hours to ensure that they will fall under the 50 employee (FULL TIME) limit so that they will not be required to provide health insurance as mandated by ObamaCare.
But WAIT! It gets even better when you take a gander at the list as compiled thus far. Seems that most on the list are NOT in the Private Sector (ie Greedy Corporations), but are the very entities that the Unions such as mine were telling it was going to be such a good deal for "the working Man". Municipalities, schools, etc.

Sorry now I paid 33yrs of dues to have so many people misled, and sorry that so many were now that they are going to have to pay more when their hours are cut for their own insurance.

Days before ObamaCare goes into effect, the administration released information on premiums people can expect next year. Just $328 a month! And lower than expected!
The mainstream press largely went along with this spin. But you don't have to look very hard to see that it's totally misleading.
A table in that White House report, for example, shows the lowest-cost Bronze plan for a 27-year-old will average $163 a month in the 36 states with federally run exchanges. Among those making $25,000, the cost will be $93 a month, after subsidies.
Is that a bargain? Not when you compare it with the plans they can buy today. The average premium for the lowest-cost plan in these same states is $54 a month, according to data in a recent Government Accountability Report.
In other words, even with the taxpayer subsidies, ObamaCare will be more expensive than what's available in the market today.
Other analyses came to the same conclusion.
The House Ways and Means Committee found the average Bronze plan for 27-year-old men will be 50% higher, and 12% higher for women. The Manhattan Institute found ObamaCare's average premiums will be 99% higher for men and 62% higher for women.

How they going to spin that into good news,IF it's even reported, on the Nightly News??

BTW, what is happening in the workplace (job cuts/hours cut) is EXACTLY what was predicted but did Comrade Corksucker Obama ever even hint about that? Hell no, and the Unions and other Dummycrats just slurped up the BS and smiled the whole time while eating the BS coming out of Obama's mouth. I hope the Dummycrats puke their insides out and all suffer miserably-they farging deserve it.

BTW, how many young kids (18-25 y.o.) are really going to buy ObamaCrap Insurance versus taking the HIT (HIT = Health Insurance Tax)-so far the studies show very few since the HIT is $95 per YEAR versus $100s per MONTH for crappy coverage. Which means that again, the REAL Taxpayers (the 47%) get to pay for those uninsured, so in effect it is the same sheet, different day all over again.

Robolo, I see where those same folks (Unions) that were so gung ho for the plan are now up in arms over what is predicted to happen. Guess they can work just as hard to get the companies they work for an exemption from the provisions before they take place, and keep the good coverage they (I) have right??
Sad to say but it looks like "Joe Taxpayer" is gonna get hammered again.
And I thought they said our taxes weren't going to go up because of ObamaCare.
