  • Very Well Said...Obamacare

This video is six minutes and I really liked the way Obamacare is presented here. The other thing I enjoyed as well is that it is done with class...reminds me of grad school...respect your opposition, have a sound arguement and present it. If done well it is very hard to argue against...emotion nevers wins the arguement and in time this will also prove true

Excellent video and worth 6 minutes. It follows my line of thought-being penalized is not what people want-we want rewards. Tax Credits to bizness and folks that BUY insurance was and is a damn simple solution, yet our Gummint, especially Obama, would prefer to kick us "payors" in the groin just so they can get votes from the folks in the wagon. Demonize what makes this country great and strong is what Marx and Stalin did and Obama does by saying the rich are evil, capitalism is bad and the best is for the poor to take from the rich because they deserve to.

Us pullers are tired of being called greedy by the folks riding in the back, as well as by Obama. Obama never pulled a wagon, he always rode in the back of the wagon and still does today.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Although I agree with the premise, I disagree with the analogy in this man's logic. He has the facts correct, but the analogy could have included another player. Most of us (on this site) are pulling that wagon and there are too may people in the wagon. What he forgets to mention is that the third player is the guy that owns the wagon. While us working stiffs strain to pull an ever-increasing load, the wagon owner gets free maintenance on the wagon, subsidized payments for the wagon's cost, profit from the fares of the riders, and offers no help to the pullers. What we need is to get the honest riders out of the wagon, a little help for the pullers and let the deadbeats walk on their own.....or a freaking JOBS BILL!!!!!!!

If there are too many in the wagon and the wagon owners were making obscene profits it would seem to me that there would be a need for more wagons (owners). Why not buy yourself a wagon?

Very true. The working stiffs pull the wagon, the freeloaders ride, and the fat cat owners get richer, can afford their own insurance but contribute less than the working stiffs pulling the wagon. In the words of T-Boon Pickens "Go ahead, tax us, I've got plenty of money." So let the fat cats pitch in. I'm for a 10% tax across the board, no deductions, no loopholes, simplify the tax code. The more you make, the more you pay.

I'm sorry guys, but someone had to pay for that wagon to begin with and pays for the pullers to pull it, plus insurance, maintenance and upkeep, otherwise, when a wheel falls off, the pullers get hurt and claim workmans comp and the freeloaders would sue to get mo' money for doing nothing. The owner took a huge risk with his capital buying the wagon and could have lost everything. To buy the wagon, he had to get a loan, pay interest, hire accountants to deal with payroll/taxes/gummint, take risk of loss of investment because someone may cause obsolescence of "wagons" leaving him with a useless asset. The Owner benefits other businesses, such as the grease company to grease the wheel bearings, the lumber company, the steel company and its workers to make the axles, nails and screws as well as the tools the carpenters need, the engineers to design the wagon, the carpenters that built it (Union and non-union) and so on, so you focking socialists seem to forget that the so-called "fat cat" took on liabilities that YOU would not, took on RISKS (such as total loss of capital investment) and also made more "fat cats" by purchasing the goods and services required to design and build the GD wagon.

The problem is the low-life, lazy MoFos sitting in the back of the wagon that could be "pullers" but chose to sit and suck off of other people's hard GD work and risks.

BTW, the tax code is spota be based on the more ya make, the more ya pay-folks forget that one can put money in programs that provide tax relief, such as tax-free municipal bonds or one can put money at risk into mfg biz (wagon building) and get tax write-offs, but remember a write-off aint a tax credit. Obama calls mfg tax write-offs "subsidies" whichis another spin by the Chief Liar-w/o tax write-offs, why risk your capital and why invest if gummint penisizes you each time you take risks that grow the entire GD economy-but WTF do you expect from a freeloader that NEVER had a job in the private sector and always was a rider, not a puller-POS Obama.
