Not to mention the stock market broke 16,000 and wal-mart is collecting food for their employees Thanksgiving dinner to go along with their food stamps. Oh wait a minute, employees have to work Thanksgiving and black Friday so what happens to the food they collect. Good ole american way.

My family will NOT be talking about politics over thanksgiving dinner and I'm most assuredly thankful for that.

Ill be with my folks in their 80's and they'll most surely bring up politics..in re how they cant believe this country has digressed so much as to elect a ****** muslim for President. And every child and granchild there will agree, and for good reason. Then we'll start in on Texas football and when is Mack going to get fired and who the next coach will be. Then it will be dont ever complain about too much rain etc...

I always get beat on pretty severly and my wife and i never bring it up. Shes blessed as all hers are yellowdogs. Our one daughter is a school principal(dem), the other is a speech pathologist(rep) and our son is a refinery lab manager( aggie/ ultra conservative). My wife and I are plant workers and wage earners. Not educated as much but we paid their way and made them the way they are. So, if we stay quiet one of them will take a gig at another and the fun starts.
Hopefully, tomorrow we just talk about fishing and hunting.
Ibtsoom you are blessed without political discussion at your house!!!
