  • Minimum Wage indexed to Inflation Rate

How many of you have pay tied to an increase in inflation??

"Obama will also push for passage of a bill sponsored by Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) and Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.) that would raise the federal minimum wage to $10.10 and index it to inflation."

Be careful Kenny, lest you get lumped into the group that have a negative view of America and "her hard working minimum wage workers" and don't believe that the playing field needs to be leveled against all of the greedy, fat, old, evil white businessmen.

Business owners need to simply close up shop for 30 days before each election cycle.

The way these knotheads are going the poor business owners will just have to close up shop because they can't afford to pay their workers. Prices are going to go up across the board which will drive up inflation, the beginning of a cycle that will finish their goal all along.......ruining this country.

Karl Marx also blames the "rich and evil corporations". Each day I wonder how the hell a commie/socialist was elected in this country? It just is amazing how people are so GD dumb, ignorant and blind to vote for a outright commie/socialist basterd and defend the dickhaid, lying MoFo. What happened to the USA and the principles of work hard, get ahead? Now it's just "Gimme, Gimme" like the damn kid standing in line at the check out grabbing candy and yelling "gimme" to Mommy.

I don't know of any job tied to inflation for pay-not even the Unions get that. It's just another way of getting votes from the Gimmedats-which are the same type of people we got from Ray Nagin's "Chocolate City"-bunch of non-contributory members of Society that suck of the Taxpayers' teats instead of working. Same with ObamaCare-what a crock of socialistic welfare crap-any idiot should understand the Taxpayers pay for covering the people that "qualify" for "exchange subsidies"-who the hell do you think PAYS for those subsidies-the GD taxpayer-it did NOTHING but help the insurance companies make more money-just calling welfare for insurance a different name and taxing the sheet out of people/companies to pay for the same folks that hit the ER for a runny nose. I swear if Sheeit had brains, it'd make a better POTUS than Obama-probably stink less too.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

If you actually had taken a half a second to read it you'd notice it is for federal workers only. No small business owners are involved and no blame has been applied to the great job creators. Jeeze! What a load of reactionary hype!

whew!!!! I feel better now. But I also read it's for workers "under federal contracts". i.e. Private business doing business with the federal government who are employing their OWN people. So in order to get a federal contract you MUST pay the increased wage vs. doing so with say..del papa(one of those great job creators?)

And Obama even says this is in an effort to gain momentum for the increase for ALL Americans.

So....come again with the over reacting part?

I'm anxious awaiting the SOTU speech tonight and Barry gittin his pen ready for some executive action like the minimum wage increase for gov contract employes.
Lots of you here are not in the 71% of Americans wanting to raise the minimum wage and tie it to the CPI. Wake up.
And you business owners will not get my sympathy as your business competitors will be under the same standard. It keeps the playing field equal for all. Gut up.
68% of Americans want Immigration reform.
82% want out of Afghanistan. (Barry is being an arse on this by keepin troops there.)
60% want stricter gun control laws.
87% want gun purchase back ground checks.
Its time Bo got off his arse and end around our do nothing NO congress and I'm prayin he will. I still remember what Reagan did with his executive action against the air traffic controllers. He has the constitutional right to do the same to tons of stuff. Git over it.
Now back to the couch and the pre programs for tonites historic speech by the best American president of our time.
Some of ya'll need to go fishing and chill out.

                            I'm done.
