The Chinese are staking out the whole S. China sea as their own. Putin is supporting Assad in Syria, and the Iran deal will lead to, at least an arms race in the mid East. It 's a crying farkin' shame!

Now for the "liberal" rebuttal.........and my "solution" to that mess in Syria.
Side question, before I present my "solution":
Am I getting old and senile or didn't I see on TV every time a bombing in Germany targeting Americans and our military personnel on leave in a nightclub, the destruction of the twin towers, the attack on the Cole, etc., etc., Syrians dancing in the streets shouting "God is great" and "death to America," "death to Europe"? Now the same population is swarming to the very countries that they were seeking to destroy because Islam demanded it?

When we won our independence from England in the late 1700s, the patriots in this country, armed mostly with hunting rifles, took on the biggest and strongest military in the world..one also aided, as if they should haven't even needed it, by German mercenaries. Nobody here needs a history lesson on why we won, we all know why.

Finally, my solution:
I believe all European and neighboring Arab governments should stop the migrants at their borders, separate every male from the ages of 18 to 50 and put a gun in their hands and turn them around to fight for their OWN DAMN FREEDOM! Take the women and children in, care for them only until their chickens**t husbands and sons win their country back and then deport them back to clean up the mess. Freedom isn't given in the modern world...it is earned by brave fighters who love it to the sacrifice of their own lives if necessary. Iraq is an example of what happen when you win the freedom of a people without their initial participation.

Condemn Obama all you want.....as far as I'm concerned, Russia can have that POS country. Let them send their sons and daughters home in body bags for Islam.

You just don't get it, and to be honest I didn't quite follow your premiss and point. What Obama is doing, or not doing in this case, is creating a much more dangerous situation in the entire world for us and our allies.

Ken.....Thanks for providing. Surprised Henry still has such a deep level of intellectual insight. Must be mid or late 80s by now. Anyway, I've been trying to reconcile the same issue.

In WWII, because we were fighting nation states, we waged war on all individuals encompassed therein. Whether man, woman or child; they died. Witness: carpet bombing of German cities, firebombing of Dresden, firebombing of Tokyo, nukes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Maybe we have to begin looking at "controlled areas" like nation states. Witness: Islamic State, Hammas, Hezbollah, Boko Harram and etc. In other words, put the word out to the people located within those controlled areas that, if they can't get their thugs under control (i.e., no threat to the US or our friends), then the people themselves are legitimate targets.

The logical alternative, which has hamstrung Israel and our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, is that, if the enemy collocates its soldiers with it's civilians, then we can't counter their attacks. The ultimate logic of that is, if the enemy sends an invasion force to the US and each enemy soldier has a civilian in tow (baby would be best), then we can't defend ourselves. Must let them kill us. A ridiculous argument.

The US is what it is because, reluctantly, in our past we were willing to make hard choices. We had "hard bark" and hard men. If we surrender that for some feel good, politically correct, defeatist, pacifistic world view, then we're ******.
