I'm surprised by the lack of comments . This election result was momentous and pivotal . The democrats were absolutely blindsided by the result , dumdfounded , thunderstruck . So too were the republicans . Trump from the onset was deemed a joke and non contender . But , he struck a cord with the America that was disaffected with the career politicians in both parties and 70% plus of those polled did not approve of the direction the country was heading . Obamas legacy and direction has been found to be not what America wants. 2-4 Supreme Court justices could be up for appointment in the next 4 years . A liberal or conservative appointee will shape the Supreme Court for a generation ... HUGE impact for the country . Politics aside , Obama and Hillary are devious , dishonest , liers, cheats, corrupt and more . The IRS , FBI , DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE and other agencies have become the same under Obama , a threat to the people . No honor , no truth , no respect for the constitution or the American people . Trump has plenty of faults , but , he has more love and respect for the constitution , America , and its traditional values than Obama and Hillary . As a bonus , Pence is intelligent , honest and appears above corruption. We're not use to that. .

We paid for that back then. Now we have a special tax penalizing workers while slugs get free healthcare-what the fark changed other than higher costs to those that had and have insurance (except for pre-existing conditions)? I only HOPE Obama's kids and grandkids pay thru the nose for what he caused. They deserve to suffer like WE do. I pray Trump trashes the whole GD thing and only makes exclusion of pre-existing conditions illegal. I was one that was shocked he won...what I am curious to see is the battle that I think will take place between he and fiscal conservatives. He looks like he will want to borrow BIG while lowering taxes. Math says the deficit will balloon but if we get GDP growth then it should equal out. I do love the reversal of regulations that have strangled my industry...and so do the bank stocks!

Grief counseling for an election? This is Brazoria County. People here are still Americans. Sometimes your side wins, sometimes your side loses. I don't see this as a win for my side. My political party no longer exists. It died with Jefferson and Madison. I still fear for our Constitution, but not as much as if Clinton had been elected. I hope against hope that our government will shrink to its Constitutional position.
