  • Nutrient deficient

When you have yellow on leaves of a plant such as this picture of an improved Meyer lemon

This means that your plant nitrogen deficient, to make the yellow leaves turn back to the natural green you need to fertilize with a nitrogen rich fertilizer.

When I run into more problem plants later in the year I will post a picture and describe what you are looking at and what the solution is to fix it, if it can be fixed.

I talkd to Hedi Sheeley owner of tree Search farms, one of the biggest local growers. She said to feed your citrus with Epson Salt.

It's not the only thing you feed them with.... but it helps with the yellow leaves.

if you have not done it for a long time, or never used epson salt. Start with 1 cup ...... then once a month hit them with a tablespoon or so.....

How do you feed them the epsom? Sprinkle it around the drip line?

Be careful with Epsom salt to much of it will fry your roots. That's why I dont tell people to use it.
